			Of Edward
My name is Edward and I live in a tree
		ain't got no rhyme
		ain't got no reason
ain't got no place to be
I just stay way up high
Hopin' it's not my night to die

		hangin' around
		tightly wound
		hopelessly bound
		can't ever be found
Oh, what a joy it would be
if only a ladder had come with my tree
If only I could get to the ground.

		Lost 'em again

Those weasley-words
    They've slip-slithered away
  	  past my paper's edge
	They fell to the floor
	ducked out the door
and bolted for the blue beyond
	Charging into the chase
	   I hunted and hollered
	         horizon to horizon
	         poked and prodded
	   every worn out wrinkle
	 of my beleaguered brain
	And finally finding them
		simply standing
on the tip of my tongue
	I indignantly demanded
 "Say something, damn you."
	but silently the stood
		and stubbornly
	silently they still stand.

Further Explanation.

What I crave perhaps more than anything else, and I live a life at the mercy of my cravings, is to achieve a pure understanding of what is. I want to know the big answers. The ones to the questions people have been asking since the first day that we developed the power of speech. A lofty, perhaps delusional goal, but I truly think it possible. The answers are out there and you reading this, right now, may have a piece of the puzzle that I do not. Which is why I am doing this. I want you to help me and in return maybe I can help you. So send me that piece of the puzzle and I'll put it in Little 'Zine and perhaps someone else will have an adjacent piece.

What I think I know so far...

is that there was a first cause. Something does not come from nothing. (Oh, I should mention that I think that everything is much more simple than most seem to believe.) When we die some part of us continues on. Much of what makes us tick is electrical energy. That does not die with us. Perhaps this is our soul. Perhaps in the beginning there was a big ball of energy and that big ball of energy somehow managed to transform into everything that is. Thus, we are all literally a part of "God". Meaning that we are also all a part of each other.

Well, that is a small part of the ever changing philosophy that I am trying to get worked out for myself. Just use one of the links in this site, including [email protected] to comment in any way.

How about a little more

Desire's Garden

	I saw it one night.
	under a crescents moon light.
	Shrouded deep.
	In forest asleep.
	A dripping garden of delight.
	I drew near
My curiosity speaking all too clear.
	Fell to my knees.
	Among the leaves
and brushed aside vines so I might peer.
	Into a garden afire
	With every gluttonous desire.
	'Twas not wise,
	but I screamed in surprise.
There and then I thought my life would expire.
	When from the frenzied oblivion.
	Strode the party's champion.
	Dressed only in lust.
	Before her she thrust
pleasure, as if it were her minion.
She came, and down to me bent.
Wrapping me in her glorious scent,
	the smell of sated need.
	I began to plead.
But with a gesture she kept my hunger pent.
Her lips parted, she wished to speak.
Forced to leave her tongue, the words were weak.
	I bent near.
	So I might hear
and brushed against her supple cheek.
The words she spoke were to my heart.
Each one piercing like a dart.
	Wait, she said.
	The ghosts are not dead.
When they are, for you, the curtain shall part.
Until then, return to your bed.
When suddenly she was gone and home I fled.
	Laughing the entire distance.
	Grateful for the chance,
to take aim at the ghosts in my head.
